BEWARE OF SCAMS.  Several of our advertisers have met one which goes like this:
Buyer offers your asking price, boat unseen. Asks you to ship it abroad, wants to send a cheque for much more than the value of the boat: you will please pass on the balance to somewhere. What happens is that - much longer afterwards than you thought it took for a cheque to clear - the cheque bounces and you are left with no boat and a big hole in your bank account.

(TOP) BRAND NEW NELO L - never fitted out. Top, all carbon construction, for 75 kg + (though I am 70). An extra layer of Kevlar and 3 carbon re-enforcements in the tail, & overlapping ‘seams’ so that there is no visible join and should be much stronger (shown by small image on right). £1300 ono.

(BOTTOM) NELO L - 3 months use. Top, all carbon construction, and incredibly light. This does not have the extra re-enforcement or special seams, and has a major tail repair, though this has withstood more than the original boat. £700 ono
