Thanks for entering our race, we're looking forward to seeing you here! There will be a cafe running both days from the Paddle Scotland base at the campsite from approx. 8am, serving hot rolls for breakfast, soup and chilli for lunch and teas, coffees and home bakes. Donations of home baking are very welcome! Parking will be in the main Tully car park (no fee), please avoid parking on the road or in any of the local business car parks as Grandtully car parking is very limited. 

We're running team races at the end of the day! Calum Cresser is co-ordinating so any queries chat to him. 

Changing facilities and toilets are in the green building in the Tully car park, please don't leave kit in the changing rooms. When crossing the road to the course please take care as it is a busy road, children should be supervised.

A camping field with toilets will be available from Wednesday 2nd Sept onsite for tents, campervans, and caravans - no booking required. £8.50 per vehicle per night.

Catering will be available both days serving a range of delicious hot breakfasts and lunches as well as sweet treats and hot drinks all day. Bring your own mug for 20p off hot drinks!

There will be a WWR event after the slalom on Saturday with boats available to borrow - Entries and details here:  Abbey Rapids Sprint 

Lots of time to practice Friday and Saturday evening. Team event after divisional races on Saturday. Onsite camping, breakfast and lunch available to purchase both days. Avoid late entry fees, enter in advance and make the organisers life easier.

Tent camping is available beside the course. Unloading cars permitted Friday evening only. 100 metre carry during competition. Hard ground.

Motor home and caravan parking on tarmac in main car park.

£5 per unit (Tent/Motorhome/caravan) for the weekend.

Toilets and showers available during the day. Tent with chemical toilet for overnight use.

Practice Sessions for the Pinkston Div 1/2 Race 

There are supervised practice slots available after the course is set each day:

• Friday night: 1 hour slots from 16.30 - 20.30 
• Saturday night : 40 minute slots from 17:00 to 19:40

There will be a charge of £10 for a 1hr session and £6.50 for a 40 min session. 

Please remember to enter the race also   - Pinkston Div 1/2 

Camping and refreshments available all weekend. Training, Teams entry and White Water Race entry will run on Saturday and all be covered by the single £10 charge per paddler, entry to WWR only £5

There is camping on site for Friday and Saturday night, please email the organiser to book a place.

Saturday: We will run teams with entries taken on the day. WWR after the slalom, entries taken on the day.

Sunday: Fun C2 event with an emphasis on family entries. Prizes for first C2 crews made up of an adult and either a Junior in the front. You can enter as prem/3 or div 4. Entries will be taken on the day, please enter before 10:00am on the Sunday.

On the day entries will be accepted until 10am both days, payment can be made with cash or card.

PARKING

There is car parking on the streets next to Pinkston Watersports and also in the car park up the hill at 110 Barron Street. Please park only in marked bays. On site parking will be limited to pre-booked motorhomes, campervans and organisers.

HOW TO FIND US 

From the M8, take J16 and turn right under the motorway and follow the road up to the left through a mini roundabout up to traffic lights.   Take a right at the traffic lights and you will see the Pinkston Watersports Orange Tower on your right hand side.

A Whatsapp group will be created to share the latest information.

Paddleups will go on a waiting list and will be made available according to the agreed guidelines in the yearbook.

Depending on the release times more entries may be granted nearer the time. 

We will be working closely with the centre to run a  safe event.

The additional £2.50 on the standard entry fee covers the boat launch which is required by the private landowner. Parking is payable on the day at the Canoe Centre by card and is £8.00 per day.  Please do not park elsewhere as the event depends on everyone following the parking requirements.
