Due to the cost of hiring the venue there will be an enhance fee of £42.00 per entry.

Lorraine Murray-Glendenning Memorial Slalom Race Shield
This trophy is awarded to an U23/Senior female paddler in memory of Hexham canoe club chair/coach who lost her battle with a brain tumor on 11th August 2019. Lorraine coached slalom paddlers at the club and supported her two daughters in their passion to compete. A handicap will be applied to each eligible paddler’s time across all classes, with the trophy awarded to the eligible paddler with the lowest adjusted time. The handicap system follows that used at the Stone Mini Slaloms (details will be on the start list).
Note: This Shield is only open to U23 and Senior paddlers - those ranked as Juniors are not eligible.

Prem/Div 1 Saturday & UK Slalom Championships
Please note that in order to be the UK Slalom Champion you must be eligible to do so as defined in section 2 of the Paddle UK Eligibility Policy If you do not meet these criteria, you can still win the race but not the championship.
Kayak Cross Sunday - Everyone will have a time trial run. Dependent on numbers top 32 will go through to head to heads (as a normal format). However, if you are outside of the top 32, there will still be head to head racing for you.

In addition to racing our intention is:
- Course will be set Saturday, after the slalom race, with the ability to practice the course on Sunday morning from 8.15am
- There will be gates above the ramp set, for people to warm up on
- Gates will also be set below the finish line with the intention of technical KX clinics being provided by coaches, at various times during the day, at no additional cost. sign up here
- After the finals, the course will remain set for the afternoon, for people to participate in informal head to heads - maybe practicing a new skill you've learnt in the clinics, head to heads with your friends and maybe even the odd rematch!
